La Course du petit-dejeuner (3.2 Miles) 00:36:00 | | The 5.2K breakfast race is a fun run and warm-up run for the Paris Marathon. Not officially timed and free to everyone. Contrary to the web page directions, no registration was required. So it mostly just a fun run, somewhat uphill and over cobblestone roads. The site seeing was fabulous, including a stone's throw from the Eiffle tower and ending at the Arc de Triomph. Sycamores and Chessnut trees lined the run and flowers are beginning to bloom in Paris. Weather has been extraordinary this week. It was a much needed run after all the site seeing and pastry eating. We are going to try another run to the top of the Eiffle tower. On Friday we were limited to the second platform, just over 1/3 the way up. | |
